For new build installations AVB Electrical will create a floorplan of the property either by scanning the building or using drawings provided to us by the designer, architect or the client.
With a full floorplan we consult with clients to discuss wants and needs to ensure final plans meet the requirements of the client whilst also satisfying all regulations around electrical installation and building regulations.
With a fully tailored approach you can rest assured your dream home is in good hands, exceeding your expectations and fully compliant with all applicable regulations.
We even take care of the notifications to your local building control office upon completion of the electrical installation.
All new build installations come with a 20 year warranty on the cabling and a 5 year warranty on the electrical outlets and accessories, giving you that extra piece of mind.
New Build Installation FAQ
New build installations don’t tend to have a set time on completion. This is due to a number of reasons, such as: Other trades progression, Size of the property and the complexity of the installation.
Electrical plans do help, however it isn’t vital that every switch and socket is drawn onto a plan before we arrive to price and plan the project. AVB Electrical actually offers a planning service. For us to draw you up plans we would require a blank floorplan of each floor to be able to start designing. We would then come to site once the shell is completed and mark out, it is at this time we would need the decision maker to double check everything and sign the design off ready to start installation.
Yes we do! We have our own contacts in each trade so we can help you to find a tradesman if you require. We do also work with other tradesmen if you already have your own builder/tradesman booked! The main thing with working with and around other trades is to keep up good clear communication. AVB Electrical are always willing to speak to any other tradesmen you may have working on your property to ensure your project is completed within specified time frames.
