Minor Works

At AVB Electrical no job is too small so you won’t find yourself struggling to find an electrician to come and replace a socket, switch or light fitting as a one off job!

Most electricians will avoid small jobs in favour of bigger jobs such as adding new circuits or completing a full rewire. This is normally because they see the bigger jobs as more profitable and therefore view these important small jobs as a waste of time.

Whether you need a socket replacing with a USB socket next to a bed or a broken accessory changed, AVB has you covered. With no call out charges during business hours we operate a minimum charge system for all small jobs. This charge covers you for up to an hour so if you have multiple items to renew or replace this can be done without the need for multiple minimum charges to be applied. For a higher minor work jobs we may move on to a price for the entire job if the job will take longer than the hour allotted for our minimum charge. This way if your job will take longer than the allotted hour instead of paying twice we would give a fixed price based on the number of items to be replaced.

All minor works can be booked in just like any other job with a day and time slot just like the bigger projects that we undertake.
